  8. Chesney/BRAINSTORM,I  want to give you
  9. my opinion.  First this idea is really
  10. interesting because the Amiga scene is
  11. 'BIG' and worldwide so it will be good
  12. to reward outstanding people.It may be
  13. late  for  1991!   But this party will
  14. need  a  lot  of organization  and  it
  15. ought  to  be  different  from  a demo
  16. party.Why  not organize a formal party
  17. with  toast  and  champagne instead of
  18. coke,beer  and  sandwiches.  About the
  19. location  :   Not in Finland or France
  20. or  UK  but in Denmark because it's in
  21. the  center of Europe's scene and in a
  22. rather  big  city  than  a little town

  27. lost   in   mountains!!!    About  the
  28. organization   and  the  organizers  :
  29. only   experienced   groups   can/must
  30. organize  this  kind  of party.Several
  31. ways  are  possible  but  it  will  be
  32. better  with  about  2 or 3 members of
  33. each elite team to organize it.It will
  34. be  better for only experienced groups
  35. to  take part at this party because if
  36. all  the  good groups are there (is it
  37. not   the  aim?   Because  by  example
  38. imagine the real oscars without Steven
  39. Spielberg  or  Kevin Costner!),  there
  40. will  not be enough place for too many
  41. people (especially  lamers), you  know
  42. that during oscars,MTV awards there is
  43. only  elite!  You will be able to take
  44. part   in   it  only  with  a  private

  48. an  organization  like  in other award
  49. shows   with  a  seated  audience  and
  50. rostrum    for   winners   and   maybe
  51. comperes!   About  the  Charts  :   an
  52. award  for  best  :   Trackmo Demo GFX
  53. Artist  Picture  Musician  Music group
  54. Coder Idea Intro Ientro Disk mag Music
  55. disk  and so on.Only first place!  Not
  56. a  second and third.  About the jury :
  57. That  is the main problem!  Some rules
  58. will  be  like the Eurocharts (you can
  59. not    vote    for   your   group   or
  60. yourself).The  jury must be made up of
  61. important   people   with   leader,gfx
  62. artist(s),musician(s),coder(s)     and
  63. trader(s) of each group (because there
  64. are many  in the scene).  But problems
  65. come with foreign sections and lots of
  66. skilled  guys  in  a  same group so it
  67. will  be  difficult to get a jury with
  68. @^
  69. the  same number of members from every
  70. group   in  the  jury,so the jury is a
  71. problem.    About  the  competitors  :
  72. every    group    select   their   own
  73. trackmo,   demo,   pic,   music,   gfx
  74. artist,musician  and  coder  by int'rn
  75. selection  and  come to take part only
  76. with  them.(For  example  SILENTS will
  77. take  part  in  the trackmo award with
  78. Global  Trash  or  Ice and not the two
  79. ones)   The   voting  system  will  be
  80. the  same that in 'normal' parties but
  81. only   good   groups+competitors  will
  82. vote!   It  seems to be better but for
  83. PHENOMENA  it  will be a shame if only
  84. one  of Tip,Mantronix and Firefox will
  85. be  able  to take part in the musician
  86. award.   It  can  not  be based on the
  87. Eurocharts because not everybody votes
  88. and  a  voting  system  will be better
  89. than    an    agreement   about   each

  93. :   Enigma,Uno,Azatoth  and  so on are
  94. high  ranking  for  1991!   Maybe it's
  95. also  the  aim  of  this party to make
  96. surprise  about  winners!   About  the
  97. Award  :   Money  is not a good idea,a
  98. real  award will be better like golden
  99. disk  but  where can we find it???It's
  100. too expansive to make it!  Another way
  101. is  for CRUSADERS to release a special
  102. issue  with  the  results based of all
  103. issues  published  in  1991  but Elite
  104. didn't  vote!   Or  to manage an issue
  105. where  ONLY  elite  will vote (but all
  106. the  elite!   Azatoth,  Walkman,  Uno,
  107. Tip,  4-Mat,  Golem,  Tec, Celebrandil
  108. and  so  on).Why  only ELITE?  Because
  109. there  is  more  average and bad teams
  110. than  experienced  ones  voting in the
  111. Eurocharts.Note  that  at  last voting
  112. for  CRUSADERS  will be allowed!!!  In

  115. course  it will be great but it raises
  116. a  lot  of  problems  to do it for the
  117. Amiga  scene!Anyway  we  can try to do
